The Peacedove Pre-school
The pre-school is part of the Swedish
school system where the children take their first steps in their
lifelong learning.
We work accordingly to the Swedish curriculum
for pre-schools Lpfö 98 (original version in Swedish or the English version) and the United Nations Convention on the
Rights of the Child (1989)
This means that our teaching is organized in a way that all the
children will learn about everything that a child should know
before beginning school.
In our pre-school the children learns
about:
- democracy = all children have equal rights
- equality = girls and boys can try each others games
- norms & values = social training, children learn to respect
each other.
We work with children's learning.
The children will be able to
- develop the Swedish language by conversations, drama games,
song, rhythm.
- develop its creativity by painting, forming and making things.
- learn about nature and to respect all living things by excursions
in the forest and by environmental work.
- be aware of the written language and mathematics.
All learning is fun and is undertaken in playful forms.
Children learn best by playing !
International contacts and students
Each year the pre-school arranges practice
places for students from Lärarhögskolan
(Teachers High School) , Finland and Portugal who come through
